About

A passionate creator in all the ways one can be, with an infectious laugh that fills a room, Minda Lane is fearlessly herself and more than willing to break with convention to experience a more authentic and joyful life. As an author and beloved yoga teacher, it is her mission to help others do the same.

Minda has always defied norms: she went to college in high school, was married and divorced by age 22, and then set off for Europe—alone—with only one clear plan: to write stories with her life, which she has been doing ever since via myriad vocations: jewelry designer, reiki master, software marketer, and creator of the celebrated food blog, Eat Like a Yogi.

When Minda’s first published work in Elephant Journal was selected as an Editor’s Pick and immediately went viral, she realized maybe she was onto something with her writing. Her second memoir, Men, Myself, & I: Revelations of an Open Marriage (a Memoir and How Not To), will be released in April 2023. Her work has also been featured in Esquire and Bustle.

When she’s not writing, Minda can be found cooking, cycling, or studying to become a (non-traditional) hospital chaplain. She is based in Seattle, WA.
